Sunday September 13. 2009

Today I spent most of the day relaxing and reading by the pool, but I also have to mention that I did my exercise, swimming 8 laps in the pool. Linda and I went to Basir Nagar this evening, an other part of the town to do some windows shopping, watch people on the beach and eat dinner. I had my 1. coffee in 2 -3 weeks (caffe mocca), believe me, it tasted FANTASTIC! :-)

Running around Chennai - September 10. 2009

Today I've been running around the city of Chennai. The day started with my theory lesson in organic design with Schweetlau, she is a very good teacher and I truly enjoyed the privat class with her today. After this I went to the Carma Garments office to meet up with Linda, Kayal and Raja. Hussein kindly took me for a ride to Paris, a crazy part of Chennai to find buttons. It felt just like I was back in Delhi for a short moment. I got to see parts of Chennai I never been to today, another part of the beautiful long beach among all. Thank you for guiding me today Hussein.

I looked like a mess when I came back to the office this evening and Raja insisted to take a photo of me... I felt just as I look on this photo, incredible hair do he he:

A afternoon walk on the beach which is a walking distance from Carma Textil's office:

Some sweet kids we met on our way to the beach

The beach in Chennai, India is the second longest beach in the world, the longest beach is Miami Beach in Florida, USA.

After our walk on the beach we came across this beautiful house and we went up to take a photo of it. We was invited in to a cup of tea and a guided tour of this mystic gurulike man who told us about the house of prayer, peace and meditation. He pointed out that everyone was welcome to join regadless religion. It was a non religious house of peace. Linda and I had a interesting talk with this man for hours.
